Delete your Termind account and data

Termind by NSY Studio — a terminal-style reminders, notes and birthdays app

Last updated September 20, 2026

You can delete your Termind account and the data we hold about you at any time, in the app or by email. You do not need to give a reason. If you only used Termind as a guest, there is no account and nothing is held about you on our side: uninstall the app or clear its storage.

Option 1: in the app
  1. Open Termind and sign in if you are not signed in.
  2. Type /user delete in the terminal and send it.
  3. Type y to confirm. Type n to cancel.

If Firebase asks for a recent sign-in, your cloud data is already deleted at that point. Sign in again and repeat /user delete to remove the sign-in itself.

If the phone is offline, the command stops with an error and deletes nothing. Connect and try again.

Option 2: by email, without the app

Write to feedback.cray@gmail.com from the email address of your account with the subject Delete my Termind account. If you signed in with Google, use the address of that Google account.

We delete the account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours first.

Delete only some of your data

You do not have to delete the account. In the app, deleting a reminder, note, birthday or group with its delete command removes it from your device and, with PRO sync, from the cloud.

To have specific data removed from the cloud while you keep your account, email us at the address above and say which data (for example "all my synced notes"). We answer within 30 days.

What is deleted
  • Your synced reminders, notes, birthdays, groups and settings in Cloud Firestore.
  • Your profile record: user ID, email address, display name, profile picture URL, sign-in method and subscription details.
  • Your sign-in in Firebase Authentication.
  • The private record that ties your Google Play purchase token to your account.
  • The data on the device you use for the in-app option: reminders, notes, birthdays, groups, settings and the recalled commands.
What is not deleted, and why
  • Your Google Play subscription. Deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel it in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions, or you will keep being charged.
  • Records Google keeps, such as your purchase and payment history in Google Play. They are held by Google under its own terms, not by us.
  • Crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics are not linked to your account, so they cannot be found and removed for you. Google deletes them automatically after a limited time (90 days at the time of writing).
  • Backups. Google may take a limited time to remove copies of deleted data from its backup systems.
  • Data on other devices where you used Termind and did not run the command. Uninstall the app or clear its storage there.
